Choices & Changes is a family-oriented counseling practice providing care in a confidential and professional setting. President, owner and therapist, Jan Boggs’ business philosophy is centered on the importance of building and maintaining positive relationships with her clients, professional colleagues, and referral sources. Jan strives to be intentional in communication and action showing compassion, integrity, honesty and guidance. Jan strongly believes that each individual has the capacity to make choices that can lead to their own personal success. As a relationship-based therapist Jan uses a variety of therapeutic techniques that give people the tools and practice to make lasting changes in their lives.

Jan graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Social Work and Indiana University at Indianapolis with a Master of Social Work. She started her early social work career working with children and adults who had developmental disabilities. Jan began her clinical work at the Bowen Center in the areas of consultation and education. For fifteen years Jan had a career as a consultant, trainer and facilitator working with both for profits and not-for-profits in the areas of team-building, communication, and conflict management.  Since 2005 she has been in private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Jan is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Association of Play Therapy.
